Important Information for Swim Test / Camp Registration Day

This year (for swim test day only), Headquarters will be back on the road near Waterfront. (Turn left off of Five Lakes Road at the bathhouse and follow the road past the first two lakes. Turn right at the fork in the road and HQ will be on your left). There will be signs posted.

Park along the road on the way to HQ -- no cars will be allowed past HQ into the area where the Cub Scouts will be walking around.

You MUST stop at Headquarters BEFORE you go anywhere else. You will be checked in at HQ and receive a number for swim testing and a card to make your name tag. You can pre-make the name tag -- sample is available here. No one will be swim tested without a number and the name tag station will not have name tags for you -- you have to go to HQ first.

If you have not turned in all your medical forms you MUST do that at swim test. We cannot swim test anyone who does not have a medical form on file. No one will be allowed at camp without a medical form.

SWIM SHOES ARE REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE TAKING THE SWIM TEST.
Crocs™ and Croc-like shoes are NOT swim shoes.

You must have a wrist band to enter the water and you must be swim tested to receive a wristband.
You must have swim shoes while participating in any waterfront activities at camp.

Directions to Five Lakes are available at http://www.btbsa.org/resources-directions.htm. If you have never been to camp before, pay attention to the mileage from the turn onto Hwy 40 to Five Lakes Road. We will have a sign by the highway, but it is easy to miss the turn if you have never been there.

A link to the directions, the swim test schedule and lots of other things are available on the Day Camp Webpage (http://daycamp.btbsa.org/)!

Thanks.
The Day Camp Staff.
